    Problems dowloading USBKP.zip

I have tried to download the “USBKP.zip” file, and I am experiencing lots of problems.

    1. I try to download the program from many sites with FlashGet, and I only obtained “phps” and other pieces of material!

    2. Finally, I did it with the downloader of Windows XP, and when I tried to extract the file in the Flash memory, the program report: “file whith a corrupted zip head”. Nevertheless, I extracted it, and contained a version of syslinux.

Is not it a bit strange all this?

Thanks Churriega, when we tried -Knoppix 5.1.1 on a USB- all was OK but now it seems to have some problems. We are trying to find what was wrong with your download-installation. Can you give us some more details? Meanwhile, have you tried to download the file again? Thanks for your comments and please let us informed.

Mmmh, I think you are right sergius!
We are working to find a solution for the problem Churriega underlined but at the moment, after many tries, we are not able to fix it.
I’m starting to think that perhaps we are in front of a new marketing strategy…. I will try to fix the problem in the next days and I keep all you informed about a solution (if exists).
I am very sorry with all you for the “problem”.
Please, post a comment if someone finds a solution.
    Best regards.

Hi everyone, I repeated all the tests and I discovered that:
1 – the version is Knoppix 5.1.0 (not 5.1.1 as I wrote, sorry)
2 – it runs perfectly on 1GB pendrive (1GB not more, unfortunately)
3 – in the “BIOS boot options” of some computers it appears not as external USB disk but as USB Hard Disk in the Hard Disk menu.. so, please, try to boot your Linux pendrive from there.
At the moment I am looking for a way to install (and boot) this portable Linux in bigger pendrives (2GB and more). If I’ll try a solution I inform you immediately writing a new comment or post.
    Thank you everybody.
